One thing i have always wanted to see tried, is to have an old "bad" movie, refilmed. Maybe not huge budget, but just see what a reasonably competant director and such can do with it. Manos, Hands of Fate is a terrible film, but with proper editing, a cast of people that can act, and some production, could it be made into a decent film? Nothing oscar worthy, or even a blockbuster, but just, watchable.
