Watching this:
which, I am sure, everyone has seen, but it made me think about a couple of things.
The progression of effects - which I really want to know how they did because I have exactly zero experience with film and they clearly hadn't switched to video until eccelston - is fascinating. Especially with the first three title sequences, you can see just how much they are building on the previous sequence.
I cannot believe how strongly I react against serif fonts on screen. As soon as I saw "Doctor Who," in times new roman (I believe) I pretty much wanted to throw my laptop against a wall. It's just wrong.
Also, Jesus fucking Christ there have been some ugly ass logos. My God.
