Baby Bob Possum is growing like a weed! So far he still seems to be in very good health, and his favorite foods include grapes, chicken, yoghurt, and scrambled eggs. I wanted to find an interesting backdrop for his latest photo portrait, and decided to use my cat, Timmy.

Fred and Spike should find a baby possum. They'd name it Fibbie, and it would be their baybee. :D

(Timmy is a very mellow cat, methinks. I kept envisioning my dear Joe, who I saw gulping down a whole mouse in two chomps. "Good kitty," I said while cringing.)

Dude, Bob loves to eat mice, too! O__O All the rehabbers mentioned that possums eat animals smaller than themselves, and they recommended buying frozen baby mice at the pet store (they're sold there as snake food) and offering Bob one. So I did. And he wolfed it down like it was a Tootsie Roll. So now he gets thawed-out mouse bits with his meals, and it's simultaneously cool and revolting. XD

Timmy is extremely patient and mellow. He lets me dress him up in costumes and take his picture:

It's fun to pick out stuff at the grocery store and see if he'll eat it. It took awhile to find canned things that weren't loaded with salt, though!
