Ino, if I’m actually to participate in this event of yours, I’m going to require more specific information: for example, when and where you think you’re holding it. I imagine others might find that pertinent data as well. Some people do still mark their calendars, you know, and most in this building do work for a living and thus may need to ask for a day off. Try to use your brain, Yamanaka.
I’m currently waiting to hear back from graduate studies programs; I’ve sent off the appropriate applications with the obligatory fees and, if Fate wills it, I’ll hear back before the first of December and may be starting again in January, for the second semester. I’ll do what’s necessary to further myself; I certainly don’t intend to live here for the rest of my life. Father, if no one else, would be disappointed though maybe my Uncle would be relieved? Out of sight, out of mind.
In the meantime, I’ve managed to pick up three more students at the dojo, and have taken over full time hours at the bookstore. One of the older women has pneumonia, and while it’s unfortunate, it gives me the opportunity to scrape enough money together for rent. Someone’s misfortune is always another’s gain. From what I hear through the stack gossip, she’s recovering quite well but has no desire to work in retail anymore. I can’t say I blame her-she’ll haunt the library, perhaps, or disappear into her attic. Alone.
It’s just how those things go.

Caged or not, I am still Hyuuga, and eventually, I’ll have everyone know it. The Clan needs to take a different sort of turn.
Wheel, soar, and swing. Is this revenge or reformation?
