I do not know why i'm updating.
Today was a very lazy day-beginning at 12pm. I even set my alarm!! But there is no point in getting out of bed, if there is pretty much nothing to DO once you are up. This house is so empty with only Abby and Megan here, which is fine, just empty. Abby and I made red beans and rice.. and taco pie. It took us an entire hour to make.... since I never cook.... lol. I actually don't mind cooking when i'm in the mood, and I get to determine who eats it and when. It just bites when you make this big something or other and then your entire family INHALES it. I then got online... which I've been doing WAY too much. I got in this weird Ski mood- I REALLY want to go skiing now. Someone put my skis/boots under my countertop in my room.. and I tried my boots on today to see if they still fit. They're a bit snug, but that's fine. I love them, because they are turquoise, with metal buckles, and macroadjusters. Pretty much the sweetest thing since Pedro's 'sledgehammer'. I was looking for ski resorts, looking at the latest ski stuff.. to covet... and looking up weather forecasts. I actually haven't skied for two years. This is a very long time- long enough to forget what I'm doing and become a threat to the rest of the skiiers on the hill. Hmm, at least I haven't succumbed to the snowboard fad that has been ravaging American ski resorts for the past few years. The girls who are trying to impress their boyfriends, but have NO clue what they're doing.. this is why i just ADORE all of you wittle snowboarders.
So...I took Rex for a walk/run today. We went Trespassing today. It was so fun. Illegal ground is WAY more fun to step on, because you can let your imagination run wild. If you happen upon a casing, this entire fantasy of hunter/prey begins to build, and pretty soon you're like one of those vulnerable, teeny little deer, with the clumsy legs- the kind that they always show on national geographic at the beginning of some "miracles of the wild" show... and men in orange vests suddenly seem to be behind EVERY SINGLE tree. Good think I had rex with me. He is such a FAT lazy helper/guard dog, that i'm sure he could do a ton of damage if need be. He took off chasing this unknown animal for awhile.. i heard these really faint yelps. He always yelps when he is chasing/trees something. I stood there and wondered how many hours it would be before he showed up at our doorstep, but he actually came right back to me after his chase. Good boy!! Hmm. that made me think of Ed. He always does that...or says... that.... lol. :)
Today I talked to my MOTHER on instant messenger. Life is now officially CRAZY. :) She is becoming modern!! YAY! Wow. I'm actually glad that my mom is so adaptive- she's def. my biggest hero. .
ok.. this is a weird entry.. but who cares.
