I haven't seen every single minute of the 3 matches yesterday, nevertheless a short summary ;)
Serbia-Montenegro 0-1 Netherlands
Serbia-Montenegro only conceded one single goal in the qualification for the world cup, so it would be difficult for the Netherlands to score a goal against this defensive. Serbia-Montenegro got the first opportunities to score a goal, but they didn't. On the other side of the playground Arjen Robben, who was obiously the man of the match (it seems that nobody can stop him) scored after a great pass of Robin van Persie. Both teams were equal, however the Netherlands were more dangerous, Serbia-Montenegros offense was really harmless, maybe the defense of the Netherlands was too strong.
Mexico 3-1 Iran
In the first half the both teams played very fast. Iran was the better team in the beginning and got several shots on goal. Surprisingly Mexico gain the lead after a free kick. A few minutes later Iran equalized it and scored after a corner. In the second half Iran slowed down, Mexico played very offensive, Iran very defensive, so they neutralise each other. Both teams were more and more slowly. Only 15 minutes to play a catastrophic goal-kick caused the lead for Mexico. Iran got nothing to subtend and Mexico scored again.
Angola 0-1 Portugal
Portugal against their former colony Angola, a very explosive match. The last match beetween these two countries was aborted because four players of Angola were sent off. Only 14 seconds after the beginning Pauleta (Portugal) got the first big chance to score, only missed by centimetres. 3 minutes later Pauleta got the next chance and did it better, goal for Portugal. Angola didn't play very good in the first 30 minutes, then they know how to play against their rival. Both keepers were in trouble several times, but in the second half really nothing happened. Portugal didn't play very good, but it was enough to win.
