Well, technically it's still before midnight...
...but by the time I actually finish this post, it'll be "Halloween". So have a vintage Halloween card!
(And yes, this is a real card, I found it on some site awhile back here. XD)
I feel like I kind of fail at Halloween, because I was going to carve our pumpkin today, but I just felt so crappy all day that I never got around to it. -__- I did some chores and made myself some hot Chai tea to try to combat this awful stuffy nose I had...and it helped for a while, but didn't get rid of it. I didn't want to make a trip to Walgreens just for something to clear my nose, either, so I finally just took a Benadryl and hoped that would help. It DID help, but it made me feel loopy and exhausted the whole rest of the day. >.< Which was pretty frustrating. I slept maybe 2 hours at 2 separate naps, and even that didn't seem to help much. I'm still feeling kind of out of it...hopefully by morning I'll be over it, because Zack & I are going out to see an early showing of the new Silent Hill movie to celebrate Halloween, then will come back home to pass out candy (in the unlikely chance that we'll get some Trick or Treaters, but hey...never know. I have my $1.50 Halloween costume just in case! XD)
Speaking of Halloween, I did some "spooky" nails the other day while watching the new episode of The Walking Dead:
I think they would've turned out better if I hadn't done them half in the dark, but meh. They're ok. (I still need to work on my "drippy nail" technique...I think I might just have to cave and get one of those little nail art tools, because I've even tried toothpicks and I still think it doesn't look quite right. Bahh.)
Everyone's talking about jumping ship from LJ already if that new "feed" thing replaces the "friend's entries" page, it seems like. I think it's ugly as hell, but I guess I'm in the minority because it's not really a deal-breaker for me? I guess because I've gotten so used to virtually every other site changing their feed layouts all the time into crap I don't like, lol. Facebook, Twitter, even Tumblr (though I admit I don't use Tumblr as much as some) have all changed multiple times since I started using them (Twitter and FB, especially), and at first I'd hate it, but I'd eventually get used to it. *shrugs* I AM hoping that it won't be a forced thing, though, because I WOULD prefer to use my custom layout like always...but I guess we'll just see if and when that happens. :|a
