Fun times!
First of all, a happy happy birthday to nitrozsz! :D Today's his birthday, so feel free to go bug him about it, haha. XD
We somehow ended up doing a sort of weekend celebration of Zack's b-day (I guess since he had a weekend b-day this year?) starting on Friday, when we went out and had lunch together and saw "Looper". Which, by the way, I thought was excellent. Though I may be a tad biased because the movie had a lot of things going for it that I loved (ie Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, a weird time-travel story, etc etc). But still, I totally recommend it, especially if you like movies like "12 Monkeys" or similar.
Yesterday was also fun, as we not only went out for delicious pho, but we also went grocery shopping afterwards and I ended up snagging the new volume of Sailor Moon with a giftcard I had, and Zack picked up "Kirby's Dream Collection" with some of his birthday money. (I also got a free Avengers poster because why not.) Which we started playing this morning, it's so much fun. Ahhh, I love Kirby ♥
Today we're just chilling, really. I made a special birthday breakfast (pumpkin pie french toast :9), and Zack's mom is going to be making a birthday dinner, with roll cake afterwards and the premiere of the new season of "The Walking Dead" later tonight as well. XD Ah, how nice.
Oh, I'm also going to be recording a guest spot on Armchair Fandomologists podcast here in a few minutes, actually. I'm excited! I've never been a guest on someone's podcast before, so I think it'll be a lot of fun. Obviously when they put up the episode I'll let anyone know in case anyone wants to check it out.
