Hey, all! Sorry I've been kind of quiet lately, but nothing terribly exciting has been going on. But I figured I'd update, anyway! ;p So here's a few things, in handy list form!
-All the new info & screenshots for the new 3DS Animal Crossing game made me think that it's been almost 4 years since I turned on "AC: City Folk"...so I popped it in. Oddly enough, my town was NOT riddled with weeds, and only 3 of my villagers were really concerned about where I'd been. The others were like "oh, hey, it's you!", heh. So I played around a little on it, and Zack ended up making a character and starting to play. XD Does anyone else still play, or is it totally dead? lol. I know I have some people's city info still, but it's been so long I wonder if anyone still even HAS their games. (I still have all my AC games...I can't seem to part with them, regardless of the fact that I haven't played the Gamecube or DS version in even longer. XD)
-I was feeling really ick last weekend, so now I'm trying to catch up on recording lines for various projects/auditions. The Ys fan-patch I'm working on is kind of tricky--I have to actually make my lines fit pre-made mouth movements to the video game clips. x__x It's a little frustrating, but it's something I have to do (especially if I ever wanna do it on a pro level, right?) Zack's been helping me on it, though, which makes it slightly easier.

Listia started a new thing recently where you can start your listings at a higher price (you used to only be able to start at any number between 0-100). I hope this isn't going to turn into a permanent thing, because now everyone thinks their dumbass crap is suddenly worth 2,000 credits right out the gate. Ugh. (Also, I recently had a woman give me a neutral feedback on a listing for a single trading card because she thought she was going to get TWO cards. WTF? It said "CARD" right in the title, and the very first sentence was "You are bidding on a single card". I left her a neutral right back and told her she needed to read descriptions a little more carefully, then proceeded to block her from ever bidding on my stuff again.)
-One of Zack's mom's coworkers was trying to get rid of yet MORE nice furniture...so we ended up with another desk. It's supposed to be a computer desk, but it was kind of big and sat a little lower than our current one...so I had the brilliant idea to turn it into a space for my embroideries/crafts/whatever. We put it in the den, which is where we keep all the video game stuff, as well as the bulk of our DVDs as well as my vinyl collection. So I figured putting the workspace there would be a good idea: I can listen to music or watch a random DVD while working. ♥
-I added some more manga & random stuff to
my sales journal. I think I still have a few things I might add to it, but check it out. :D I'm trying to get back into the swing of making embroideries, but it's going slowly...I need more motivation, lol. /lazy
-It's getting wayyyyy too hot. x___x The heat index (what the temperature FELT like with the humidity) was up to 108 today. Thank goodness I had looked up the forecast last night and woke up early this morning to get out of the house by 8am to get all my errands done early. By 9am it was already 89 degrees, and when I got home around 10:30, it was pushing 93. Even for Texas, this was a lot warmer than usual for this time of year. Looks like it's about time to break out the sunblock and parasols again already. Yeesh.
*yawn* Yeah. Like I said, nothing terribly exciting. Zack and I want to try to see "Brave" soon, but hopefully on a day when it won't feel like we're gonna die once we step out of the house. XD We also just finished downloading the "extended" Mass Effect 3 endings...so I might play that soon, I dunno. (Guess it depends if Zack wants to play his first or not. I can always wait, since it hasn't been that long since I initially beat the game.)
Ugh. Ok, I think it's time for bed now. 'Night, all~ ♥
