HELLZ YEAH! Disneyland...rocks...my...socks...y0!
And to prove it...I have a long entry with many pics (w00t, pics!).
Thursday: The Journey Begins!
Well, the day started right off the bat. Had to be at school for a warm-up rehearsal before we left (only time we'd be able to practice before the actual performance, unfortunately). So, finished that and got to wander the school for an hour or so before we left for the actual bus ride. So, I went around and found some people before the trip to get some pics!
YAY! Off to Cali!!
These be the roommates, y0! Pat, Chet (ah, don't cry, Chet, we're goin' to Disneyland!), and Mike (Ahmit, unfortunately, is not in my room...but, o well XD).
These are my Orch Galz. We have Kristyn, Michelle, Idy, Angie, and Sarah (Orch Galz not shown...Diamond XD, don't worry, though, you'll see her soon enough).
Here we have the awesome Ashley, Zakh, and Correne. Oddly, didn't really get to chill with Guitar until the last day, which kind of sucked (but, more on that later).
Anyhow, so, we definitely were gettin' to go when the bus finally got there! And, well, not much to do but pack our stuff and...
GO, BUS, GO!!
Haha, well, we were looking at a good 6.5+ hours of bus...so we spent a good deal of it just sittin' near the back (because that's the place to be, y0!). About the first hour I spent talking and chattin' until my Pokemon game called (yeah, that's right, Blue Version, y0!). Anyhow, that got old quickly, and I felt like singin'! So, well, I shuffled around a bit, and we got some killer tunes goin'. Mainly, "I Will Survive", any and all Backstreet Boys, and some Sheryl Crow (don't be dissin' the awesomeness of those bands XD). Anyhow, I was accompanied by...
Mini-Chelle (Michelle, if you will), our own Jewish part of Orchestra (who is undeniably awesome),
Jax and Airi...okay, so, Jax didn't really sing, but, hey, he's kool anyhow,
Diamond, who tries to be gangsta, but, we all know she's a Hostess Cupcake ^^, and...
Kristyn! Who reminds me of an innocent Koala bear...don't ask, just how it is XD.
Well, after songs, boredom fell over the good lot of us...so, the make-up kit was busted out and we created a new super human/cat...
Ms. KittyKat Airi. Haha, by far the most random Asian I know, next to Mike-0. Thinks she's black, but, heck, she's a Twinkie! But, heck, I looked past that, because, check it out...
Now, who WOULDN'T want a kittykat of there own? XD.
Well, the better part of the ride consisted of conversations on the side. However, it didn't take to long until we reached the best restaurant known to man: Medieval Times.
For those of you peasants that doth not know of the great Medieval Times, it's a place where mere plebians can have a king's feast of WHOLE turkey legs with a mug of ale (okay, Pepsi =P), whilst observing a most noble fight amongst honorable the Knights of the Realm. The scene outside the jousting area was complete chaos
See? But, these were my people...they even had a sword stand! Yep, buy "authentic" medieval steel (which, was NICELY crafted...some had Dwarven runes from LOTR all the way to the Oriental Katana, Waksashi, and Tonto set ^^).
Anyhow, as the consumerism passed over me, we finally made it into the arena, which looks pretty sweet...
Well, it looks kool! Anyhow, we all got to sit down together ("we" being the Orchestra + Guitar) in the Blue section, and best of all...
Got my Orch Galz right there with me to cheer along our fierce champion...
DA BLUE KNIGHT!!!!
SO LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!
Hellz yeah! Anyhow, so he was one of the first up...and his battle was pretty sweet...however...
In a great battle...he was unable to become victorious, so he was eliminated (not killed though =/). The battles continued on with one victory after another for a different knight...
The White Knight...well, yeah, of COURSE White-y kicks ass XD. Well, he lays waste to these hapless knights in great fashion...
All was going well for the White Knight...and he was just knighted as...HE WAS BETRAYED! His throat was "slit" and the Grand Marshall betrays them all...however!!
*Trumpets sound* BLUE RETURNS!! His life was spared, and he prepares to do battle with the Traitor!
Take that EVIL MARSHALL!
And on of THESE *Schwing with REAL sword...yeeeeeeah!*
FIGHT...GO BLUE!!
And...with a final stroke, he downs the foe! And...hells yeah, watch this...
BONDAGE! Or...well, mainly him being owned by those with ropes XD. However, the traitor does not realize that he is soon in for some real pain...
EXECUTIONER! Haha, yep, and you know what they are best at *lops off head*.
Well, we all enjoyed that thoroughly...I recommend it to ANYONE who wants to have an awesome time and likes to yell...a lot XD.
Anyhow, finished that up and made our way to the Holiday Inn (yep, plenty of galz sang in on that when they saw it ==) and rested up for the trip to Disneyland the next day!

Friday: A Day of Reckoning...for Mickey!
Well, after a long and restful night of playing DDR, watching Adult Swim (YAY ROBOT CHICKEN!), and throwing ice at our neighbor's door (poor guys, didn't know what hit 'em XD), we all woke up for a well-deserved breakfast
Ahh...sweet, sweet breakfast.
Anyhow, packed up the bus full of giddy students ready to ride the good ride and chill at Disneyland/California Adventure. Didn't take too much time to get there, and, when we did...
IT WAS GO TIME!!!
Haha, well, we got there about 5 minutes later, much to the happiness of everyone, but...we were kind of left out, because Disneyland didn't know where our tickets were. I must say, this made everyone quite sad...but, pictures were taken to pass the time...
ORCH GALZ! *Almost sick of seeing them, eh?...TOO BAD!*
Now, most people forget that without these ladies, entitled "The Chaparones", there wouldn't be a trip, so, go them! They're awesome.
Yeah, and this guy, too...as much as orchestra gets fed up with him (me especially XD), he DID get this all set up, so, props to Haggard and his lovely wife ^^.
Well, we finally got done with the ticket incident, so the group decided to hit up California Adventure first (as it does close before Disneyland and is a good warm-up for the Disney rides ^^). So, when we entered we decided to commemorate the moment with my personal favorite picture...
Heck ya, that's us off to have fun...well, the first ride we hit up was my favorite ride of ALL California Adventure...Bear Mountain Riverraft Ride (whether that's the name or not, I don't care...it's awesome XD). We almost lost Airi on it...

Well, we all were going up the incline...when the ride broke down (yeah, wonderful...the first ride and it broke ==).
*Sigh* But, luckily, we had cell phones for calling and keeping ourselves entertained while complaining about the ride to the family with us. It eventually finished...

And we all got off, slightly wet (Zakh and Jax more so XD) and found somthing awesome outside...

Well, I couldn't just let these guys have all the fun...sooooo...

Well, that was all fun and childish (as Disneyland should be ^^), but we all headed off towards the Pier...

We walked over to the Pier...
And saw all of the rides...all the very...tall...scary...fast *eeeeek!*, rides XD. Needless to say...I wasn't one to go on 'em, but, hey, that doesn't stop me from takin' pictures, right? ^^
Haha, well, that was all good and fun for all of them...but, you see, I'm deathly afraid of heights and coasters (almost fell out of the coaster on Space Mountain when I was four ==). However, Angie was dying to go on the Tower of Terror. So, because we were afraid she was going to cry (and we wouldn't want our lil' Angie sad! XD), we all took a walk over to the ride. Passed by this happy place...
*Wheeee!* And kept walking =P.
The group got to the ride (the line was fairly short). But, Angie got to take a picture with the bellhop...now, the kool thing about this picture is the hotel is supposed to be haunted with ghosts and other scary-type things, and the photo plays the part!

As the line progressed, people were gettin' terrified!
AH!! O...sorry about that last one, folks, that's just scary in itself XD.
Well, we got on the ride...and, yeah...you THINK the word TOWER would give away the height part of the ride...but, I decided they couldn't be THAT obvious. Therefore, I was pretty much hunched over the for the entire ride in a feeble and wimp-like state (I HATE HEIGHTS!!). But, it's alright...'cause after the ride, it was food time!
A few of us went over to the burger line, while others went to the corndog hut. Now, I don't know about you, but corndogs always seemed to be a bit suggestive...I mean...they are long...full of meats...and they are kind of cylindrical/rounded. I dunno, maybe I have a sick mind and think everything is dirty. Well, I guess I'm just perverted...what do you think Airi...you don't think corndogs are dirty, do you?
As innocent as innocent can be ^^.
Haha, well, everyone was losing their steam after the Tower, so we headed out, but not until we visited the Hollywood Disney area...and good thing we did, too!

Alright, moving on!
Well, we made it into Disneyland at about 3:00 p.m. (a good 4 hours at California Adventure), and I immediately jumped all over the picture-taking...

Well, we all couldn't quite agree on what to do first, so we went and got our fast passes for Space Mountain (and, by "we", I mean "them" XD). We came out and saw the "Matihorn" (whatever XD), and got on...it turns out to be a kool minicoaster. Unfortunately, they didn't have much room, so...
Double up! Haha, me and Zakh took the front car while...
Airi took up the rear!
It was over quite quickly. But it was only a 5 or so minute wait, so no complaints.
Well, that was all fun and good...so, afterword, we took a stroll through MY personal favorite part of Disneyland...

Haha, yeah...well, that was over fast XD.
So, we made our way to, what I think, is the BEST ride EVER...eff'ing Splash Mountain, y0!!! Unfortunately, the line was about at 45 minute wait...luckily, there were photo opps...
Haha, but we finally made it...
And off we went...man, the wait for Splash Mountain was DEFINITELY worth it! Well, we got that all done with, and went to the gift shop (how unexpected =P)...got myself an awesome Tigger doll (dude, the thing is SO awesome...sittin' on my desk right now! ^^).
Well, all were hungry, so we went, got some food, talked of life, fun, what guys think of when they first see a girl (yeah, it was Sean, Zakh and Jax Explains it All =P).
Well, we all kind of broke up a bit...most people had tickets for Space Mountain (however, as I almost fell off of the dang ride when I was four, I wasn't exactly keen on riding it ==). So, I sat out in the arcade and played some DDR with people (yep, DDR at Disneyland...it's become obsession XD).
Well, it took everyone quite a while (despite fast passes!), so we chilled in the center...and, unbeknownest to us...
FIREWORKS...pretty! XD
Haha, while watching we met up with some kids from guitar...
I was almost certain these guys had died XD. But, yeah, we chilled...but...soon (well 20 minutes...much of which consisted of me being VERY hyper and running away from one of the guitar guys with Mickey gloves XD), I heard a faint noise...slightly above a whisper. But, oddly, it sang to me...and I was drawn towards it...and, as I inched closer, I could hear the roar of a guitar and the rythem of a bass...and...there it was...
DISNEY RAVE!!! XD
It was SO KOOL!! They were playing "Mustang Sally" by Muddy Waters..."Walking on Broken Glass" by the Eurythics...MAN! I was defintiely in my element! There was even the star of Disneyland there...
Good ol' Mickey himself! He was chillin' in the crowd and dancin' with the ladies at one point, and then Pluto came...me and him had a dance-off (and, just so ya know, I whooped up on his sorry puppy behind! XD).
Well, the entire evening went awesomely, and we decided that, after 12 straight hours of Disney we all meet up at California Adventure...
And off we went to the hotel!
Almost done, come on, you can do it...this one is short!!!
Saturday: The Return of the Orchestra
Haha, well after a night of complete fun (playing Stepmania, pillow fights, ice throwing, bed jumping, and neighbor bothering), we all got up and headed off to the festival (the "orchestra" part of the Orchestra Trip =P).
We got there...ah, WAY too early...but, gave us plenty of time to just sit around in the beautiful campus courtyard. Much Frisbee and just general chillin' took place there. With all the people in white and black, and the scenery in the background, you would assume 1688 Puritan Town Hall XD.
Well, we went in...played our stuff, got cliniced, then waited for guitar to do the same. BUT...it didn't end there! Apparently the awards festival was going on...at Disneyland XD.
Haha, so we all packed up the bus, and made our way to Disneyland...again!
Well, it was late when we got there, so, there really wasn't anytime to do rides. Mainly, I broke off from my original group and hung out with Jason, Correne, Ashley, Emili, and Adam. We got some food, and we headed off to get our award (where there were PLENTY of other people gettin' ready to get their award). Now, we were all stuck outside (we being the orchestra and guitar ensemble), BUT Mr. Haggard stole 4 lucky people away to be the recipients for the award itself...I WAS ONE OF 'EM...HOOOOO-AH!
Well, the four of us (Zakh, Ashley, Jason, and me), all headed over to the Representatives area...
And that would be us "representin'" XD. Haha, well it took a while, but they had the awards out on stage...
So I got a pic of 'em!...but, got bored...
Ahh...restin' on Ashley (essentially the "mother figure" here)
Well, we all were waitin'...and waitin'...and waitin'! FINALLY, one of the best Disney characters came on stage. Now, most people would expect...I dunno, Donald, Mickey, Minnie, or someone like that to give out the award, right? WELL! We were given a treat, because the one who came was the one...the only...Gan-...I mean...Dumble-...uh...MERLIN!!
HELLZ YES! He basically did one of the best stand-up routines I've ever heard from a Disney character (and while that may not SEEM like much, it had me on the ground in laughter XD).
Haha, one by one, people got their awards...and there was this awesome group from Wisconsin that I chatted with the entire time, too! They were so awesome...even when it started to rain (go figure), it was great...just laughin' and having a generally good time XD...o, and we even got a treat after gettin' all the awards...

Well, that was all there was to that night...we immediately got on the bus (well...I changed outside first into come pj's), and made our way for home...
But, you know what...despite the 17+ hour round-trip busride...
...It was so totally worth it!
Well, that's all there is to it...took me a couple of weeks to get it all put together (mostly my ADHD got me side-tracked XD)!

Well, we all kind of broke up a bit...most people had tickets for Space Mountain (however, as I almost fell off of the dang ride when I was four, I wasn't exactly keen on riding it ==). So, I sat out in the arcade and played some DDR with people (yep, DDR at Disneyland...it's become obsession XD).
Well, it took everyone quite a while (despite fast passes!), so we chilled in the center...and, unbeknownest to us...

Haha, while watching we met up with some kids from guitar...
I was almost certain these guys had died XD. But, yeah, we chilled...but...soon (well 20 minutes...much of which consisted of me being VERY hyper and running away from one of the guitar guys with Mickey gloves XD), I heard a faint noise...slightly above a whisper. But, oddly, it sang to me...and I was drawn towards it...and, as I inched closer, I could hear the roar of a guitar and the rythem of a bass...and...there it was...
DISNEY RAVE!!! XD
It was SO KOOL!! They were playing "Mustang Sally" by Muddy Waters..."Walking on Broken Glass" by the Eurythics...MAN! I was defintiely in my element! There was even the star of Disneyland there...
Good ol' Mickey himself! He was chillin' in the crowd and dancin' with the ladies at one point, and then Pluto came...me and him had a dance-off (and, just so ya know, I whooped up on his sorry puppy behind! XD).
Well, the entire evening went awesomely, and we decided that, after 12 straight hours of Disney we all meet up at California Adventure...
And off we went to the hotel!

Saturday: The Return of the Orchestra
Haha, well after a night of complete fun (playing Stepmania, pillow fights, ice throwing, bed jumping, and neighbor bothering), we all got up and headed off to the festival (the "orchestra" part of the Orchestra Trip =P).
We got there...ah, WAY too early...but, gave us plenty of time to just sit around in the beautiful campus courtyard. Much Frisbee and just general chillin' took place there. With all the people in white and black, and the scenery in the background, you would assume 1688 Puritan Town Hall XD.
Well, we went in...played our stuff, got cliniced, then waited for guitar to do the same. BUT...it didn't end there! Apparently the awards festival was going on...at Disneyland XD.
Haha, so we all packed up the bus, and made our way to Disneyland...again!
Well, it was late when we got there, so, there really wasn't anytime to do rides. Mainly, I broke off from my original group and hung out with Jason, Correne, Ashley, Emili, and Adam. We got some food, and we headed off to get our award (where there were PLENTY of other people gettin' ready to get their award). Now, we were all stuck outside (we being the orchestra and guitar ensemble), BUT Mr. Haggard stole 4 lucky people away to be the recipients for the award itself...I WAS ONE OF 'EM...HOOOOO-AH!
Well, the four of us (Zakh, Ashley, Jason, and me), all headed over to the Representatives area...
And that would be us "representin'" XD. Haha, well it took a while, but they had the awards out on stage...
So I got a pic of 'em!...but, got bored...

Well, we all were waitin'...and waitin'...and waitin'! FINALLY, one of the best Disney characters came on stage. Now, most people would expect...I dunno, Donald, Mickey, Minnie, or someone like that to give out the award, right? WELL! We were given a treat, because the one who came was the one...the only...Gan-...I mean...Dumble-...uh...MERLIN!!
HELLZ YES! He basically did one of the best stand-up routines I've ever heard from a Disney character (and while that may not SEEM like much, it had me on the ground in laughter XD).
Haha, one by one, people got their awards...and there was this awesome group from Wisconsin that I chatted with the entire time, too! They were so awesome...even when it started to rain (go figure), it was great...just laughin' and having a generally good time XD...o, and we even got a treat after gettin' all the awards...

Well, that was all there was to that night...we immediately got on the bus (well...I changed outside first into come pj's), and made our way for home...
But, you know what...despite the 17+ hour round-trip busride...
...It was so totally worth it!
Well, that's all there is to it...took me a couple of weeks to get it all put together (mostly my ADHD got me side-tracked XD)!
*Btw, I DID work REALLY hard on this, and it took me QUITE a while...so, I hope you read it all...and, it'd be sweet if I could get some comments ^^...please? ^^*
