Spring Break '06
Well...yeah, it's a bit past due, but, here it is...what you've ALL been waiting for...
Yeah, anyhow XD.
Day One: Saturday
Basically this was a day of reckoning. You see, for my birthday, I asked for one thing...and one thing only...and that was, a mandolin. Now, when I said I wanted a mandolin...I wanted THIS BEAUTIFUL BABY (OMGZ...sooo beautiful)...however, I learned that $3000 MAY have been a bit over-the-top XD. So, after being slightly disappointed (as this was one of the FEW days I was at work), I got over myself and went to IHOP (as per tradition ^^), and got myself some food ^^.
Feeling at End Of Day: Good enough XD
Day Two: Sunday
Bri's party is unfortunately cancelled *sigh*...however, I did get to go to Home Depot...why doth thou ask? To make her gift. A TRIPOD!! w00t!...okay, nevermind, AP Literature joke XD (moving on!), but, I did get my gift from Bri...which just happened to be my own poker chip box (now I can squeeze monies out of EVERYONE...muahahahaha XD). Other than that...just chillin'
Feeling at End Of Day: Slightly disappointed =/
Day Three: Monday
Haha, got to spend the day with my Da today (last one before St. Patty's and Graduation XD). Had some Famous Dave's...only one of the greatest of Midwestern restaurants...RIBS, CORN, BEANS, AND COLESLAW...HOOOOOOO-AH!!! XD. Had Dale, The Giant, serve us (he's a man that loved his food...I'm sure of it XD). Then, off to the mall. Well, apparently it was time I got myself a sports jacket...or, well, so my Da said...and...well, he has the money...so, we did XD. BUT MAN! The prices are INSANE...$300 for a JACKET?!?! I mean, it's nice, and quite awesome, but HECK...not something I would waste precious money on! But, I did get some awesome Italian leather shoes (ate a cow that day; then finished it off by wearing it...YES! XD). O, also got an expansion for my "Munchkins" game, so...happy ^^.
Feeling at End Of Day: I GOT STUFF...FOR WAY TOO MUCH MONEY!! =O
Day Four: Tuesday
PARENT'S FLEW THE COOP...to Lake Tahoe ^^. So, basically, the house is mine...forever ^^...and there was SNOW...that's right...snow! Not at my house, unfortunately, but, near enough...meant to go out hiking, however, Aaron didn't wake-up...and...then it melted...so, food instead XD.
Feeling at End Of Day: FREEDOM!! XD
Day Five-Six: Wednesday-Thursday
Officially the best day of my break. Well, with my parents gone, it is only natural that one should assume responsibility of the house...this, of course, includes the following:
a) Attempt to keep tidy
b) Feed animals so they can continue living
c) THROW A LAN PARTY!!! ^^
So, yeah, all fulfilled! I set up a LAN to go down at my house at 7:00 p.m. at my house! However, before that, me, Chris, and Ryan got some food at Capriotti's (sandwich shop) where I taught them to play some "Munchkin" ^^. Then, we all met at Guitar Center to look for my new mandolin (yeah...dragged 'em along XD). Although, I wasn't happy with the limited selection of, o, ONE A MODEL ==. *Sigh* Well, one is better than none XD. But, I didn't buy it (as that is my parent's job to buy my gift ^^). However, I did walk away with a book of sheet music by Billy Joel and one of Ben Folds Five for Aaron (his late b-day gift XD). Well, anyhow, onto the important matters ^^.

Well, I had to clear the entire area so we could get set up...luckily, Jeff came by early with the tables...followed closely by Chris, H, b0b, and Nick ^^...and so...
IT BEGAN!!
Haha, not much besides some good ol' Starcraft to start out with...b0b made his "wang of death" (that's right...photons are annoying ==)...however, it wasn't much of a match for my Hydra rushing power! H and Nick got killed by Chris' hydras quickly (but, it all fairness...they WERE n00bs XD)...ended up being the two Zerg vs. the one Protoss...and, quite frankly, I don't care HOW many carriers you have...you can't kill 200 hydras XD.
So, that game went to me and Chris (hahaha...victoly)...but, eventually, people started showing up (so, I had to put away the DDR pad)...just to get a look at the G's at my LAN...
Here we got Mr. Peters alongside H (the only Asian XD) and Nick (who is deeply emersed in the game)...all seemed well with the three...until...
Well, Erik got hungry for Taiwanese XD. O well XD.
EVAN! Don't really get to see him much, however, he's awesome (graduated last year, actually)...he's a frequent comer to LAN's...so, we accept his genius and playing skillz as a much needed addition to our repetoire of awesome ^^.
Haha, the three amigos on my side of the LAN...the big head is Chris (yeah, it's not because it's close up...he's just a big-head =P, jk'ing XD). In the mid we have Jeff...who, without, there would be NO LAN (he is the cord and switchboard master XD). Then, b0b, a.k.a. Ryan/Papaskrobe...awesome and blameless in the ways of the bowtie XD.
Well, unfortunately for Aaron, he came pretty much last...so, he got voted off the LAN island XD. But, it worked well enough for him...he was using his Laptop and Desktop at the same time (whatever XD)...however, he IS God of the FPS...so, we mustn't anger him so XD.
And who could forget the greatness that is "Bawls" energy drink? Mmm...I just love my Bawls...feels so good just sucking on those Bawls for hour on hour...those Bawls sure give you a jump start, but don't shake 'em...they might go off in your face...and, we don't want Bawls going off in our own faces, now do we? ^^
BOOO! XD...haha, yep, that's me with my hardcore lappy ^^. I'm so kool...I even hooked up my DDR pad to my lappy and just danced the night away (or sleepiness...seriously, didn't fall into Sleep's caress ^^).
Well, many games of CS and TFC (Counter-Strike and Team Fortress Classic) were played, and for good measure...then the games died down (as people succumbed to sleep...psssh...puny flesh-creatures...XD).
Well, consumed with boredness...many videos were watched...including Dr. Tran ...hellz yeah!
Haha, well, most people split by 9 or 10...but, Erik stuck around...so, IHOP XD. Well, unfortunately, I didn't sleep...and...well...then work XD...however...work + 32 straight hours of being awake = SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET XD.
Feeling at End Of Day: BEST DAY EVER!!! =O
Day Seven: Friday
HELLZ YEAH...ST. PATTY'S DAY!!! =O
Went to Rose McCarthy's for some good ol' Irish music and corned beef and cabbage (mmmmmmmm....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM). I love St. Patty's day...and, no it's not for the Guinness...or for the food (though, heck yea...FOOD! ^^)...it's for the unity of the Irish...to spend a day together in perfect unison...well, until they all got punch-drunk and...well, started throwing those punches around. I don't know about you, but a drunken brawl is one of life's greatest short movies XD. I definitely enjoyed the security just sitting back, watching and laughing...however, they ended up breaking it up after a good 5 minutes (plenty of time for a nice crowd to gather to gawk and laugh XD. But, I DIDN'T get to go the Floggin Molly concert...so, that sucked =/. But, I did get to hang with Eric, Mike, and Jeff at Eric's house...got visited by Jackie, Ashley, and Amber (all great gals).

Okay, officially, LQ started on Sunday! Midnight to 6 a.m. Ended up being me, b0b, Aaron, Dru, Brian (Aaron's bro), Nico-chan, Yichao!, Erik, and Bri. So, codename time...here's the gist...

Haha, was so sweet...ran around, beat people on the head with the pistol, and just chilled when we were on break. Games came and went...but, I ended up with some NICE rankings: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 2nd, 1st!! Yep, the last game was mine...and he who laughs last, laughs hardest ^^.
Well, UNFORTUNATELY...everyone but me and Erik jetted before the end, so we ended up going to IHOP for food and the his house for Swedish pancakes (seriously, though, man...pretentious family...however, awesome food! ^^).
Slept for a good 6 hours, but then work...so, not much time to relax XD.
Feeling at End Of Break: AWESOME WEEK...can I have another? ^^
