The fuzzy purple-haired kroko is back for another installation of "Kroko's World" :P I gots a new animated LJ icon uploaded now. It's a cute scene from episode 19, when Dandy, who now has developed a crush on Shrion, gets excited when Shiron calls out to him. I just found out that I could have up to 6 userpics now. :D More icons for me to fiddle around with, then. ^^
Nothing much has happened to me since last month's entry, besides getting and completing Gunstar Super Heroes (a really fun and challenging Treasure-developed game) A couple of weeks ago, I was finally able to travel to Orlando after almost 2 years to visit friends, play arcade games and go shopping at local flea markets and thrift stores for cheap old videogames. It was very nice to be with them again. I missed hanging out with people I really care about. ^^ I played with some old Atari games, watched Monty Python DVDs and some sang some Karaoke Revolution, which I did surprisingly well in. *^_^* While hunting down retro videogames, I was able to obtain a brand-new copy of Electroplankton at the flea market for $30. Much better than getting it OL for $35 plus S+H. :D It's very relaxing and fun to play with. Besides that, I also snagged Mega Man 2 for NES, and F-Zero and Hyperzone for SNES, and a Sonic Pinball toy from Tomy. It has a motor that rotates bumbers and spinning things. And lucky me found an old Gyromite cartridge that has a Famicom-to-NES converter in it. Earlier printings of NES's Gyromite had Famicom boards with these converters in it. When taken out, the converter can be used to play Famicom games on the US NES. I was finally able to play my Japanese copy of Super Mario 3. Sweet indeed. :D Overall, the Orlando trip was well worth it. :D I hope to do it again sometime later on.
In more recent news, I finally replaced my old Sony TV, which has some color problems for months now...well "some" would be an overstatement. All the blacks are greener, all the whites are redder, and all the greens are browner. It would also blink for 10+ minutes after turning it on, and whenever any whites showed. It became to annoying, so I got myself a new cheap 20" to replace it. At least this new one has component video...though I don't have component cables for anything yet. XD Only thing I don't like about the new TV is the lack of tilt-correction. Being the picky perfectionist I am, it'll probably bug the hell out of me for a while. Here's hoping I won't ruin this new TV soon. XD
Random question: I'm wondering if there's a good site to host random images, like Photobucket and such. It would be nice to show off photos and sketches of random stuffs on here, as the only sites I have are DA and Y!Gallery pages. :3
