Nobel conference
I'm definitely fighting off illness. It's frustrating that not even being sick per se can still make you feel crappy. Oh well, my super immune system will fight this off within a few days and I'll go on living life as usual.
I'm on a HUGE Smashing Pumpkins kick now. I don't know what happened, but I put on their Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness tonight, and it really made sense to me. For reasons (better) left unsaid, I guess I'm just feeling blue. I'll get over it.
I often wonder which is more difficult: surrender or victory. I'm too proud to surrender and too inept to prove victorious, so I guess I'm stuck.
