Firefly

I just recently I started watching the show Firefly. I have come to the conclusion that this show was the best show that I never heard about and I love it to pieces. The characters were fun and interesting with backstories and quirks that made them fun and interesting to watch. I must say that my favorite character was Jayne Cobb aka the Man they call Jayne. Adam Baldwin played him to perfection. He just made me laugh and smile at his unique way of looking at the world. I loved the dynamic between Simon and River, I am a complete sucker for family loyalty and love affairs. I have decided that I want a brother just like him. It would also be really cool to be able to kick ass like River. Then of course I have love for Zoe/Wash. At first I didn't get the relationship but watching them...they just clicked. Love romances like that where the connection is unexpected but it just works. Kaylee and Book were cool as well and I don't want anyone thinking they were under appreciated by me. Inara was a wicked character and I love the whole companion angle to her life. Last but certainly not least Mal...I love my captain. I have liked Nathan Fillion in other roles but this has to be my favorite role for him. It was complex, endearing, and full of fun wit. The coming together of the characters with the genius of Joss, I was like in heaven. When I reached the episode 14, I think I went straight out to rent serenity and now I want more so I am trying to find as much fic as I can because I feel empty knowing the show is over and I have nothing new to feed my new obsession with all that is Firefly.

*sigh* Until I need to rant about my next obsession...Ciao
