To me Memory is not just one image or moment, but a feeling and emotion you get once you visit your past. Happy or sad. My memories are extremely powerful.
That is why I chose not to show a memory, but only show someone reliving something. A calm , somber mood, probably thinking about his first love, childhood friend, or a relative that has passed away ( who knows, it could even be about the delicious meal his mother made for his 7th birthday).
