Attention please!
I have officially finished my very first Fan Comic!! It's only a two page mini but still a comic nonetheless! This is the first time I've actually finished one, and kept the quality somewhat consistent.
It's based on Life on Mars but has nothing really to do with the story line. It came about because of the Sketch Tavern 100 drawing list. The first one I tackled was Silence and this sad story came to mind. But it also helps that the main character in the show is extremely sympathetic and angsty all the time. Poor guy. I would be too if reality as I knew it was utterly shattered. :( If you decide to have a gander at the piece here's some background story:
Sam Tyler is a police officer from 2006 who is tracking a serial killer whose latest victim is to be Sam's kidnapped girlfriend, a horrible car accident left him in a coma (or so he thinks?) when he wakes up he's in the middle of nowhere, but it's 1973. He's still a police officer at his station but everyone thinks he's gone mental. One officer , Annie Cartwright, shows him some kindness and friendship (she still thinks he's not completely all there , because he freaks out now and then because he can hear what's going on in 2006 in his hospital room). His boss is pretty much the biggest asshole/bastard in the history of cinema, and sometimes bends the law for his own benefit, but in the end he does what's right. Even if that involves a fist fight with Sam before hand. All the while trying to find the serial killer from his time, and stopping the Manchester baddies.
