She's busy reading over everything from the last few days, but she finally decides to talk to the village at large.]So. Hypothetical question. ...how long is too long to wait? For people, for objects, for anything. Give me your thoughts on this ( Read more... )

[Buffy! Shiki always likes when Buffy graces her with her presence, so don't mind her suddenly having a wide grin on her face, even though she's silently looking her over to make sure she's really okay today.]

Hey! What brings you here today?

And you're the coolest cool kid, I know. [She's even going to stop what she's doing to give the older girl her full attention.] I'm glad you stopped by. Seems like it's been forever since I've seen you.

[Presently, All Passions looks like the outer edge of a third-grade classroom. Hisoka was just trying to get grocery shopping done, but.. No. That eyesore is not sticking around all autumn.]

What are you doing?

Well it's kind of my building. If you don't like it you don't have to look.

[Luka's just staring at Shiki while she works in her decorations... It reminds her of when she was in elementary school but she has no complains. She's mostly just wondering... Why she's bothering with that.]

[Shiki's continuing to work for now, not really noticing she has a spectator until she turns to grab another string of fake leaves.] Oh! ...hey. Didn't know anybody was watching.

S-Sorry... I was just walking by...

[And she stopped to watch. She pauses and looks around for a moment.]

B-But... Y-You're at the plaza, t-there are many people around.

[Someone was bond to watch you sooner or later.]

It's fine, I don't mind. Maybe I'll get more business this way. [Probably not, considering the fact that it's not up to Shiki's usual par. She's still a bit off.]

What sort of question is that?

so_shik September 18 2011, 20:59:54 UTC
An open-ended one, I guess. I'm really just sort of curious what people think.

Doesn't it kind of depend on what you have to wait for? And how bad you want it?

If that's what you think, yeah. [Sorry, Teito, she's not going to give her opinion just yet.] I can see how those would be things that affect your feelings on it though.

I think... it's when you can't stand waiting anymore. [This is, she knows, a vague answer. But waiting for things to work out hadn't had a time limit set on it. There was just a time when suddenly she couldn't keep sitting and waiting.]

That's a good answer. And everybody's amount of time is different, is't it?

Mm. Some people can bear more than others. [To be honest, with the perspective of the years since back then, she was probably too quick to give up.]

So I've noticed. ...what's yours? [Limit, she means. Because Shiki's nosy and likes to ask questions that aren't necessarily her business.]
