I have been neglecting this journal, so I have a bit of catching up to do. Here's what I've been reading over the past couple of months:

The Age of Innocence, Edith Wharton:  Ethan Frome was the only other Wharton that I'd read up until this point and it was one of my favorites.  I thought it was high time that I read another before I ran across the movie and it ruined it for me.  I enjoyed this book quite a bit, but sometimes found it hard to sympathize with the main character - ( Read more... )
