I'm glad auditions are FINALLY over! I had a good time in Montreal, and I wish I could've stayed longer because it's such a great city.

However, as much as I love my mother, I don't think I can travel with her in this sort of situation again. It was just too stressful to have to be concerned about where she was and how she was feeling, especially

Sounds like Texas will be a really good option! Will you consider it if you get offers from the other schools?

I think it depends on the offer -- I'm pretty sure the best Montreal can do is offer an "in-state" tuition for international students, which isn't too bad (about 3k a semester), and since I haven't heard from Alabama yet, I'm probably not one of their top candidates (unless someone declines). But my teacher is talking to one of the professors at UNT to see if there is/will be anything else available...so I guess we'll see what I get.

Also! I found out I can get a tassel at the end of April until graduation and they're only $10. Yay!

Should McGill notify you soon? Is their deadline also April 15th?

It's not McGill, it's Université de Montréal, but I'm not sure when they will notify me. The viola prof is in Chile right now and I'm not sure when she's coming back, but I would imagine they would let me know soon (although it is Canada and I guess they're just as bad as Italians when it comes to being punctual)

Traveling with mothers = SUPER STRESSFUL!!! But also nice because they pay for things and at the end of the day it's easy company. But seriously though, so fucking stressful.

I am excited for your next move! I think UNT sounds really good and also CALIFORNIA IS SO MUCH FUN you will like it :)
