Did I really develop a lisp? That's hilarious! And we were totally dependent on each other, and, of course, the thought of banana pancakes and salmon egg scramble. When are we doing it again? www.raceberryjam.com

Oh, and Katie is in the process of having a little girl... details posted as they become available!

Yeah, you had a lisp, I can't believe you didn't notice. It just made you more fabulous, of course!

Sadly, my left foot got hurt and now my right knee hurts because I've been taking all my weight onto that side. But once I'm recovered I plan to start training again!

I'm so happy for Katie!

Ugh. I hate when that happens (the knee pain, not the lisp). Maybe we can switch to something non-knee-intensive? Swimming, cycling, rock climbing, anyone?

I'm glad I did it, it can go on my skill list along with Numchuck skills and bow hunting skills. But my foot and knee are kind of messed up now.

Have a Bam icon.

Yay Jessie! You did it and that's awesome. And it could have been much grosser, ickier, and slimier- at least it was just you and Leah's bodily fluids and not a bunch of strangers, and certain bodily fluids are conspicuously absent from that list... :)

Hang out soon?

I was just reading one of those vampire hunter books I was telling you about and there's a scene where these characters are sort of having a threesome until two of them start corroding and pieces start falling off.

At the 5K there was no torturous sex with vampires.

There were no vampires at all :-( We did escape from certain bodily fluids, thank goodness. I can hardly imagine a scene with all the bodily fluids that there are. I've obviously been thinking about this too long....

By the way I read that book you recommended Crake and Oryx and it was sooooo good.
