And now for the real life update.
Mummy has spent most of the last few weeks in hospital with various infections. Her chemo has been postponed but she should be starting back with it tomorrow. She's also developed lumps on her tummy.
Been to see her Doctor tonight (still wish she had Wilson). The Doctor has said that the lumps are tumours. He gave a prognoses. Worst case scenario, a few months. Best case, a year. The last two batches of chemo have left her ridiculously ill and prone to infections. It's getting to the point where you have to weight up if it's worth it.
On a personal level I like to think I'm coping on the whole but I think on some levels, I'm still in denial. When I get news like this it just hits me all over again.
To quote Marshall Eriksen on receiving the news his dad had just passed, (because real life should always be full of quotes from telebox programs) "I'm not ready for this".
On a completely unrelated, anti-angst note. Mark Sheppard wants to play Moriarty's big brother Steve who is a brilliant dancer, quite the ladies man and he's the real big bad. I want this more than anything to happen in the new Sherlock. I just know it never will. Mark Sheppard as Sebastian Moran though needs to be a facebook campaign.
