I saw a groundhog (M. monax) in the KI parking lot today after leaving my meeting for my new Tuesday night substitute gig. At first, I thought it was a cat, but I realized that it was too chunky. The llama has been out of commission due to some snow days (3!), technical difficulties and a disabling upper respiratory bug (blach!)Luckily the snow days coincided with the worst of the sneezing, coughing and general cold-related misery, so I didn't actually miss work. Llama is back. She was on the sick list last week, unfortunately during the Holiday Labor day weekend that coincided with her birthday. Poor M. He's caught the gastro-intestinal bug that appears to be making the rounds. He was up most of early Saturday morning throwing up. I got him some saltines and gatorade and soup, and he appears to be getting better.
