Caution: Liquid from tea kettle is HOT!

I see why they have to put those labels on coffee cups. I spilled tea on my lap today, resulting in a blister about the size of a quarter on my leg. It stung like crazy for a while, but has settled into a dull irritation.
I was drinking tea because I felt sick anyway, so it was almost like adding insult to injury. (Or more accurately: injury to illness.) I resolved to only drink cold fluids for the rest of the day, but gave in and drank lukewarm miso soup for supper. It was remarkably tasty. Dried reconstituted seaweed tastes like...ocean.

Am feeling somewhat less wretched and marginally improved this evening.

Finished my oscar-evening, would-north-be-true hallucinogenic hat. It is a Llama original, I don't think anyone could mistake it for anything otherwise. Maybe when I figure out how to post pictures I'll get a copy of Katie H (it's intended wearer) donning it.

It's raining cats and dogs (and frogs and pigs and chickens and things) around here.

Smells like spring. And ozone from the lightning. And I think my neighbors may be hitting the ganja again. (sigh.)
