It's snowing
Snow is pretty. I know I always say I hate winter, and I do- except for the first 3 or 4 times it snows. It's pretty and peaceful and magical, and it beats the shit out of frozen rain.
The Holidays are rapidly approaching and my bank account is shrinking. I find myself taking a little here and there out of savings for this and that and its adding up. I know that this is going to sound selfish but two things are happening this week that I really, really, want to get in on. Countryfest Tickets go on sale tuesday at noon- which is just the most fun time ever- and of course tickets to my beloved boston red sox go on sale this saturday. Why do these things have to go on sale now when I have no money? I'm going to have to sacrifice one of them- but the question is, which one? Some help here would be appreciated ;)
Yesterday was fun. Cat came over and we decorated my tree and hung out with my mom and my sister and two of my nieces marissa and anna, and my nephew keith, oh and greg was there. We drank caramel bailys over ice and wine, me and cat hide in the bathtub with Marissa, all and all, I'd call it a win. I really do love my family, they are a quality bunch- Cats not so bad either :-P
I have to go to Bath and body works from 3-6 . I wish I could quit- I hate that I need a second job- second jobs suck the life right out of you.If I everw ant to move out of here though- its a necessary evil. This week is going to be long- I have to work doubles monday, tuesday and wednesday. Luckily though Thursday night me and Cat and john and Aaron are going to see the trans-Siberian Orchestra at the DCU center so that should provide some relief. I can't wait.
Thats all the life update for now
Oh and one more thing- The show Weeds on Showtime may in fact be one of the best shows ever created. It's genius, plain and simple. I'd recommend it to all.
