I started cutting again.
It feels good.
All of my anguish flows out from my wrists.
Then I wipe my keyboard.

these last couple of days
they've hurt me deep...
they have struck a painful chord in my heart

it feels almost as if the knife i use to cut myself
is too blunt to ease the pain

the blood trickling from my veins down the sink
is no longer the anguish flowing from my soul
but demons that will return to haunt me yet
and forever so
