PC's SUCK
Last week my HD crashed on me. Started getting failed sectors and wouldnt boot so I formatted, ran a chkdsk to label the bad sectors and reinstalled my OS. Unfortunately the HD was too bad to save. Still wouldnt boot due to failed sectors. So I ordered a new 200Gigger and installed a small 20gig while waiting to recieve it. I also noticed my fan on my cpu was starting to make noises.... not that much of a problem but since I had the case opened anyway and an extra fan I thought I would replace it. after replacing the fan the PC wouldnt boot. Took off the heatsink and fan and noticed the damn cpu was burnt. Brought the cpu in today to make sure it was bad by sticking it in a working PC and sure enough its dead. I was so pissed off.... I've only had that system for a little under 2 years. All in all it was a good excuse to upgrade to a 64-bit processor I've been wanting anyway. I picked out the mobo and cpu last night. amd athlon 64 3400+ and an ASUS K8V-x motherboard. :o) I'm still without a PC for over a week though!! But I can't wait to power up that 64-bit processor with the new 200gig serial ATA HD.
