Underwhelmed by mediocre vocals. Choreo is actually not as hard-hitting as I thought it might be and I liked it less than what I was hoping it would be--the focus on the singer who's not moving much detracts from everything going on with the rest of the group dancing (which is a lot). Some of it's off performance-wise, but I'm expecting them to clean up for MuCore . . . because that's what SNSD does. Also, who was the brilliant manager who scheduled a CF shoot the day before their comeback stage

Before I do anything HAVE YOU SEEN THE STARRY NIGHT RADIO CLIPS?!? I'm kinda loving all the randomness during the songs. Totally warranted caps. And the fact that I'm home at freakin 5pm as opposed to 8pm.
XD I've watched the raw halfway through. One of the most amusing moments so far is them singing TaeYeon's line that goes in the middle of that second rap part. They seem to be all teasing her about the low way she sings it. XD

I think the meta comm will be for more serious thoughts - like, I wanted to expand on the end of my thoughts on the MV, where I was comparing RDR to other songs that are out (AG had a wonderful idea of comparing SM and YG promoting practices 8D). So basically, meta for meta, this one for everything else?

I was going to do a girlgroup comeback comparison but not really shading too much into promotion practices--it devolved into a Girlgroup Spectrum of Rapping, which included a category firmly titled "This Isn't Rap, It's Glorified Narration".

I spent 7 hours in an airplane today, and instead of doing my readings like a good girl should, I filled a page with comm post scribblings under different headings until they all had arrows leading to each other. I looked at it, and decided on a nap instead. XD
