Once again, I found the urge to set SNSD to better dances. Mr. Mr. deserves better.
Oh, I did some to Red Light, as well, while I was at it, because that song also needs a new dance.
Best for first is SKE48's Darkness, which means Youtube banhammers would come down way too easily, so
here's the tumblr upload. Next are the eternal Magic Dances of Replay and Mirotic:

Next is the delightful discovery I made of Fairies' Bling Bling My Love.
I can definitely see why they picked out Momoka Ito as their center, as well as giving her a solo debut. She has that It Factor, drawing your eyes with sheer force of presence. It doesn't hurt that she's one of the group's top dancers, in a group of great dancers, but she also knows how to leverage her facial expressions in a way that the other two best dancers haven't quite mastered.

BBML's dance fixes Red Light even better:

(Tangent: why is it that females have to
dilute their routine execution energy due to heels, and then get praised for dancing more naturally/energetically in flats, but there is no opposite movement of having males do heels routines? Heels seem like an inherently gendered footwear, and gendered in a way that sets up femininity as inherently inferior. There is no good way to do "kickass in heels" without some magic waif fu handwaving with "justifying the objectification" subtext, so it just seems like it would be better to promote more flats-based aesthetic standards. Even heels choreography tends to be originally conceived by the choreographer in sneakers, so it's not like there's any area of dance that absolutely needs them to be optimal.)
For more Fairies, I also did Mr. Mr. with
White Angel and
Beat Generation.
And, finally, I shit over excuses about formation complexity with actual formation complexity that still has great energy and technique, through the great Brainstorming dance shot. Did it for both Mr. Mr. and Red Light:

Man, the longer I listen to both songs, (and man did I listen to both songs way too much, making these videos) the more Red Light sounds better than Mr. Mr. in every way. The latter is just so...safe.
