Nice! That was the feeling I get when I read her answer. Assuring fans with sincerity that they still want to go on with the group and they actually do care/knows what the fans want. But on the other hand private matters will stay private and so people who wants to know please back off.
Haven't we established in the other LJ (metacrack was it???) that sunny is very pr-ish. At times too opaque you don't get that idol feel. She's too polished. But well this was for a variety show so I guess this is the best she can do for it to be sincere, humorous and deflective all together.
Have u guys by any chance read the 7th anniversary fan account? It's almost like a full transcript.. I think what sooyoung said sounded really like her heartfelt words.. syoo is always very good with words and always seem to be able to make people feel that warm feeling.
I've been catching up on JeKry, too, and there have been some surprisingly serious conversations about industry and their feelings on their careers, both from SNSD and f(x). (SNSD were drunk, and f(x) were punch-drunk on lack of sleep, so filters were pretty off)
Here. Part 2 is where all the emo stuff are.. almost a blow by blow account of the fan meeting.
I need to watch jekry.... no time.... T_T Well snsd are at a point where I guess they can afford some honesty. Fx.. not too sure.. especially with the Sullivan situation now. Sica sounded really honest in the jap the best interview too. As in her answers didn't sound very packaged but actually hit pretty close to home.
What shinjirei said below: Jessica is one very smart woman.
She is clearly building a career for herself after SNSD and there were moments during the JeKry show where you could notice that there was an effort to build an new image as just Jessica, instead of "SNSD's Jessica". That is exactly the kind of thing you would do if you were thinking about leaving the group and starting a new path on your own.
