Look at this storytelling mastery. The balance between "sincerity," snark, self-deprecation, and seriousness. How it's used in a particular order to control the pacing and emphasis on which parts she wants the audience to take away as the "real" message, while keeping things entertaining with humor.
Look at how she expertly reinforces their careers. She's not dating right now! They're sensitive to the fans' feelings! They're not going out on dates right now, for the fans!
And yet, she makes sure to establish their independent space. She reveals that so much has happened behind the scenes that the public doesn't know of, as it should be, and will be. They will give the fans what they want, not be, and to "be careful" affirms that they will continue to do their own private business, except that as per the results of the "let dating news go public" experiment, not let private business news go public.
Is said establishment that the private shenanigans will continue in private also a subtle request for prying eyes to lay off?
