Nothing too exciting to report. Still funemployed :) We think Nick is ok with his job but it's always nerve wracking in this economy. No hits for me on the job front although I've been attending networking events and conferences as they come up and am doing my best. I'm also looking at Coworking Office Spaces. It's basically an office space rental service where a company owns the space and provides basic office amenitities and you pay to use the facilities. I've seen packages offering $15 and $20 for minimal use. I am interested in doing it because I'm working on a few different projects and while I'm not making money at them, it would be nice to have an office to go to so I can focus and feel like I'm working. It sounds kind of lame, but the hardest thing about being unemployed is not getting disconnected. My next set of classes starts at the end of September. I think I should take a Marcom class, maybe in Winter. I hate that kind of writing but I should just learn how to do it because I may have to at some point in my career or as I'm looking for a new job... so who knows.

My mom is visiting this week so we are knitting. She is teaching me how to knit socks on two circular needles. I finished her lace scarf and started on one for me in two Noro colorways. My mom really likes it and wants one so I am putting it on my to-do list ;) I have to make a hat for Nick, finish my other Lenore sock, finish my Amineko, and finish a crochet lace sachet thing I started forever ago. I want to make my mom a pair of socks for xmas. Knitterly Things was out of the semi-solid color I wanted back when I ordered a bunch of sock yarn but they got it back in. I got "Just Right Red" Socks that Rock and felt it was too orange. The Vesper Sock Yarn Cherry color is perfect and they finally have it back in stock!! I can't wait to finish my other Lenore sock, they are really pretty.

Anyways back to knitting and hanging out with mom :D
