I like the helicopter people too (even Charlotte, who I have forgiven for her complete lack of archaeological skills or etiquette because she is Britannia Jones and a cultural anthropologist). I get the feeling a lot of people don't like Miles, but as Hurley pointed out, "the ship sent another Sawyer." Only he's a lot more ineffectual and short-tempered, which to me, equals hilarious. And Dan is instant-love. "I'm Daniel Faraday; I'm here to rescue you." Don't think I didn't catch that, writers.

Ahaha, totally agreed. I mean, I can definitely see where people are getting irritating vibes from him, but even if I find him kind of annoying as a person he's still a fun character. And a ghostbuster! SWEET!
I liked Miles last week, but now I want to hit him. Dan is kind of irritating but interesting, and I like the other two OK.
I was SO relieved by the ending of episode three - even though I know it's not very likely that they'd kill him off at this point, Ben does at least *look* like he's about to keel over and die.

Ack, I know! Logic dictates that he's too important to kill off (at least not yet), but then he's taken quite a beating lately and it's hard for me to not start getting concerned.
That is exactly the way I've been watching LOST. I freaked the heck out (in a good way) when I heard his voice in the flashforward. Oh gawds, he's gonna be alive a bit longer! :DDD

And Christian Shepard. WTF, I love it.
Ben > Everyone else. Trufact.
