Despite the snide remarks of my friends, I went to watch March of the Penguins this afternoon. Actually, it is probably a good thing that nobody wanted to watch it with me, because they would have had to endure my "omg penguins SQUEEE!" afterward. Heh, me too... It's too bad that I didn't ask you to go with me! Sorry...! I figured I was the only one weird enough to go "OMG PENGUINS!!" Next time there is a weird movie that I want to watch I'll be sure to ask you.

I think it's just the miniature things are just appealing because you can hold them and play with them easier. I was at the craft store with my best friend, who was looking for scrapbook materials, and I kept squee-ing over things like tinytiny paper fruits and stuff. They're just so tiny and detailed and adorabe! ...I don't understand it, either.

Oh, I have a friend who is obsessed with those tiny paper scrapbooking cutouts. One time when we were working on a project about the 1920s, we went to the craft store and I had to drag her away from the tiny wedding dresses and sunglasses and whatnot. I think those companies are marketing on the fact that the average female reaction will be "so tiny eeee!!" and they will have to buy it.
