On Friday, I received an email from my good friend dalcassius telling me that he re-told the story of my Christmas burglary to a friend. That friend was a writer for the Daily News, who contacted me the next day. After speaking with him on the phone for a bit, a staff photographer was even sent over to my house. In taking a few minutes break to browse Facebook, I came across a group called "People Against Violent Crimes in Halifax."

I read through some of the wall-posts. Some claimed that the souce of violent crimes here is poverty, others drugs.

Yesterday I stayed at school all day. Classes from 9:30 on. I had a free lunch, a free dinner and played frizbee (with mittens) on the lawn.
