It's been a busy weekend for me. For the first time in six years, I went to see a doctor and I got a complete physical exam. Yea, when I say "complete", I mean it. Since February, I've been dealing with this localized gut pain that I feared was a hernia or a tumor or worse. After poking around for a bit, my new doc thinks it may simply be something much more humorous that I won't mention here. Suffice it to say, I'm on some medicines that make me fairly uncomfortable and prone to fainting. I've got two weeks on this stuff then we see what changes. I also had a bunch of blood work done so we'll see in a couple days if six years without professional medical check-ups haven't been a problem. Oof the coming work week is gonna suck.
In other more fun news, I've narrowed my apartment search down to one apartment complex in Beaverton and I had a chance to go check it out yesterday. I took a tour of the model apartment they had and I think I'm possibly sold on it. It's spacious, new, upscale, affordable and comfortable. The deck is huge and secluded while the kitchen is large and open. Unfortunately they won't have an open apartment until the middle of July, but that'll give me time to keep looking around. Plus, hopefully they'll have some deals next month as they tried to sell me on the place with an inflated price...
Somewhere in the midst of all this craziness, I have to find some time to relax!
