If there were ever a movie adaptation of any book I'd ever write, Supertramp would have to be used at least once. Possibly twice. Especially "Goodbye Stranger" and "Breakfast in America." I understand being worshipped by stereotypical gamer-nerds may not sound appealing to everyone, but a lot of vulnerable people with low self-esteem see it as the ultimate escape from reality. Some people drink, some people sit in casinos all day, and some people enjoy being worshipped by the opposite sex through a video game. I, personally, have no trouble imagining how someone could get addicted to the attention because--and you have to believe me on this--they're not all inept losers. And there is a certain chauvinism online too. From what I've seen, men fall all over themselves to offer to fight alongside a woman-gamer. They'll even take the lead and offer all the credit to their princess. I'm using general terms, but this happens every moment of every day ( ... )

Isn't it a bunch of petty mothers who wait for Wiis outside Freddy's Tuesday mornings? Or have those days past and now it's the slacker teens? Hehehehe ( ... )

Man. I still can't believe, for the life of me, that Wiis are still in shortage like this and that apparently there's no shortage of petty miserable people. I love to hear your stories of spoiled rotten kids/adults who just get all bent about a friggin video game. But you know, anyone who wants something badly enough to act like a child in front of you probably doesn't deserve it. Keep the stories coming! Mad respect for freddy's clerks ( ... )
