A Book's Final Line / "Into the Wild" / More Valanko Gossip

If there were ever a movie adaptation of any book I'd ever write, Supertramp would have to be used at least once. Possibly twice. Especially "Goodbye Stranger" and "Breakfast in America." For some reason, as I'm researching this band, their music seems to remind me of the beat of my 2005 road trip if such a thing can be said. I understand that they ( Read more... )

Man. I still can't believe, for the life of me, that Wiis are still in shortage like this and that apparently there's no shortage of petty miserable people. I love to hear your stories of spoiled rotten kids/adults who just get all bent about a friggin video game. But you know, anyone who wants something badly enough to act like a child in front of you probably doesn't deserve it. Keep the stories coming! Mad respect for freddy's clerks!

To some people now, how well put-together their MySpace page is is almost a symbol of status like fashion or vehicles. For them, MySpace is the continuation of shallow popularity contests from high school ("Got people beggin' for my Top 8 spaces" -Weird Al). My sister loves telling her new online friends from Xbox Live to check out her MySpace page, and it's totally exploded with subscribers. I bet she's loving being the center of attention, with people waiting for her updates. What a world we're living in. If they weren't so pivotal to daily life in the 21st century, I'd suggest keeping Mia away from computers. ;)

My sister has a bit of an attitude so kicking men to the curb probably doesn't phase her (Look at how she's treating Franko). She's gonna flirt with these men until one of them tells her what she wants to hear and in some strange way that could be her vindication for leaving Franko- "Well, look who I found! I had no idea I was missing out on this guy. Thank god I'm single again!" Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if this whole fiasco boiled down to the fact that she's been off her depression meds since January and we can't force her to take them...
