AT LAST! A SWEET SUCCESS!
For YEARS, ever since going to the Dixie Stampede and having their Southern Sweet Iced Tea, I've been trying to get the right mix of hot water, sugar and tea, thinking that's all that was needed to come up with a good sweet iced tea. and I wasn't alone, that was how my mother and grandmother said to do it.
And at last today, I realized... ONLINE! So I looked up Souther Sweet Iced Tea and was incredulous at first... Baking soda? in tea? BUT YES! adding just a pinch of baking soda gets rid of the bitterness of the tea, making it deliciously sweet and refreshing!
