I'm on the last chapter and have just written the last scene with Jaffar's mum. I AM GOING TO MISS HER. *sniffs* almost I wish I hadn't read about what a pimp and a panderer she was (well, according to some legends at least) because what I've had on my hands has been a 70-year-old saucy grandma and EVERY TIME WE HAVE SEEN HER SHE HAS TALKED ABOUT BUMSEX. And basically assumes Jaffar is near-completely gay. *sobs* So yeah, she's been a handful. She's also been really funny and quippity and I love her and I will miss her.
No idea who I'd cast as her, though, sadly. Someone who would be tall, dark and thin-ish with piercing blue eyes, obvs, but anyway. I don't actually have that many head casts for this story even if I've never written this many OCs, ever. That's... strange. I briefly thought of Ainley (again!) for his brother Fadl because I needed someone with piercing blue eyes and black hair and a beard who wasn't as thin as Jaffar, but... Fadl could also be played by someone else. And oddly enough, I actually did have a head casting for Jaffar's sister but ended up not needing her in the story after all. She would've been Eva Green, and I hope I will be able to use her one day.
I'm going to miss Masrur too, damn it. I wish I could have given *everyone* more time in the sun in this story, but it's not really that kind of story since it's still all about Jaffar/Pwinzezz, especially Jaffar.
But ah well. I'll see if I can at least get started on the wedding night scene today. *goes back to poke fic*
