Writing and actorpiles
-Work heavily underway on the last chapter of The Persiafic. Nearly there, guys. Nearly there. The Doctor and the Master are working out their ~feelings~ and the strangest thing of all is that we're making them do it without sex entering the picture. How the hell do you work feelings out in slash without fucking? And when it's those two? What's the world coming to? I don't know, man.
-GDI, not going to enter into a bidding war over this (sob, why isn't it on Buy It Now, sob) but it's pretty much as if someone had gone back in time and made a classic movie magazine for me. Really, you get both dashing Connies on multiple pages but there's also a LOOK INSIDE MAE WEST'S BEDROOM. I cracked the fuck up at the first caption (risque!) and also totally fell over laughing when it was revealed she had a mirror on the ceiling. Because she totally would have. Also, on that page, Connie is out-prettying everyone (except quite possibly Joan Crawford and Jean Harlow) and Clark Gable is like "well, shit". Those lashes!
-Speaking of things full of awesome actors, I am blinking and still going WTF at this radio production of Neverwhere even being real. Cumberbatch? McAvoy? Okonedo? Cribbins? CHRISTOPHER FUCKING LEE? It really is a shame my brain has not got any better when it comes to focusing on audio-only stuff. Because, dude. Amazing cast. And I was *just* thinking of the people whose voices make me melt the most and Cucumber and Okonedo are so high on that list it's not true. All they need now is Paul McGann and Hiddles.
