Okay, so this has totally been an "annoying new user-unfriendly interface" week for both Tumblr and Trillian. Who's going to be the third service to piss off their userbase this week, because these kinds of things so often come in threes? I'm on the edge of my seat, waiting to find out. Can they beat Tumblr fucking up two of its dashboard's most popular features (messing up the ability to switch between various blogs smoothly while crossposting crap and moving all your like/reblog/follow updates off your main dash to the individual blogs--but wait, that's not all: they now appear in a ridiculously tiny font whereas everyone's teenybopper avatars have become bigger)? Trillian's Windows-style, mind-bendingly condescending "here, we simplified this service even further for you and added piles of pointless crap because we think you're a knuckle-dragging moron" redesign is also going to be a tough act to follow.
