Day 29 - Who you think should be the next Doctor
All I'm sayin' is that Dave and Georgia had better start breeding quickly so their kid can become a Doctor at some point.
And right now, I'm too tired to remember who I was rooting for when they still hadn't announced who would be Eleven. Thank fuck it wasn't anyone I hated or who couldn't act.
Also, I'm not all that opposed to Johnny Depp, as long as it was a series rather than a movie and British-made and written by someone who wasn't Rusty. Moff'n'Gatiss could do it. To be honest, when I first saw Jack Sparrow, I thought "wow, this is the single most Doctorish character I've seen anywhere in years". If the Doctor was a rum-addled pirate, that is. POTC is still an official Who AU in my head anyway (look, Sparrow fights giant crabs and squid, kidnaps kids to go with him on adventures, has an evil ex-boyfriend who keeps coming back from the dead, he can't navigate for shit, reality warps the fuck out around him, he can bullshit his way out of anything, has a questionable fashion sense, is a complete slag and completely and utterly awesome). So, yeah.
Although, I'm still holding out for Joanna Lumley, as it should be. Just in case.
