I HAVE A BOOKSHELF. It's a fugly 80s one, but it was 15 e. I also now have a shitty mirror, also 15 e, which becomes a funhouse mirror the moment you take three steps back from it. But again, beggars can't be choosers. BUT I THINK MOST OF THE FLAT IS FIXEDE NOW. Now I only need to put up pretty pictures and moar curtains and... yeah. I even assembled my TARDIS playset, so that means it's finally a home:q. I'm too tired to even take pictures. But. Flat. FLAAAT.
I also went Outside today and and and walked around town for the first time in years. It's good to be back in the city centre. I'm not sure if all the walking made my stomach pains worse. Will have to wait and see.
We started watching Five Days with Teh Geen last night (I've only seen the first ep, so spoil me and die). It's a bit good. It has Suranne Jones and That Tall Guy Called David Who Once Played The Doctor And Has Homoerotic Tension With John Simm. David Morrissey, that is. The thing is really well written and gets like five billion points for not being all about white blokes (there are plenty of interesting people of every gender and ethnicity) and even the cleaning lady has character and the plot seems pretty layered so far. Must watch moar. Also, Gene and I both seem to have independently come to the conclusion that The Suranne is like the female John Simm. In that she's a) an awesome actor b) northern and gritty and c) does harrowing emotion really well and d) makes a good hammy Whoverse villain. But she doesn't get enough exposure/good enough roles because she's a she and looks really... normal and not crazy glamorous. I can't wait to see her with That Other Dave in Single Father. Here's hoping they'll cast her in something awesomely well-written with Simmy as well, because I might just asplode from quality acting or something.
Anyway. Am nodding off nao.
