Some interesting links to compensate for twattery:
Submissions for the 2008 Diagram Prize for Oddest Book Title of the Year. Me, I'm intrigued by "Excrement in the Late Middle Ages" for the sheer WTF factor.
Kill Bill, parts 1 and 2, in one minute, one take. Fucking brilliant.
And
FRANKIE BOYLE'S WEBSITE. With some fucking funny comics. Some NSFWness and, well, the usual Frankie level of swearing and bitching. And cartoon superhero peens. Lots of them. I have love for the made-up magazines and newspapers in the reviews section, too.
Grammar and Usage for the Non-Expert. Neat summaries on some common errors, like people misusing lie/lay (arrrrgh!) and using the singular "there's" for plurals. And good reasons why you shouldn't use a passive voice when writing. I should probably just start linking to this site whenever I'm betaing stuff for people. Of course, it doesn't cover some fanfic-specific or porn-specific errors and such, but the site is extensive and easy to understand. Hell, I can't remember all of this myself sometimes, so it's a valuable site.
Famous Homoerotic Poems. Minus points for Comic Sans (it's like writing porn with alphabet bricks or crayons in a kindergarten!)--but that site has poems that are difficult to find elsewhere on the internets.
