Mmmm. This + Queen Galleia = Delgado, you charmer. ;)

I'll add "learning more about Chin Lee" to the list of reasons why I need to see the Mind of Evil.

I AM TOTALLY A BAD PERSON, RIGHT?

I don't even care. My options were: read Delgado het by a good writer right now OR read same smut at some vaguely defined point in the future when I can put the characterizations in proper context. It wasn't a long debate.

Butbutbut! I still have no idea how fanfic even works if you don't know who it's about. It just boggles the mind, because fanfic's usually based on people we already know or something. And works with back-references to the text and everything, so I'd feel horrible not knowing what I'd miss when reading, so I don't generally read stuff in fandoms or about serials/episodes I haven't seen. Of course, I am chuffed that you think my stuff is so good that you don't even care what it's about, I'm not saying that. But but but but but I put in loads of stuff that refers to the serial and the fic won't be as enjoyable without context, since it's, well, just like most fanfic, meant to be read if you know WTF is going on. I'm just puzzled that it'd even make sense to anyone without, really...

Yeah, know what you mean. I'm normally not tempted at all to read fanfic from outside my fandom either, because regardless of the quality I would be hopelessly lost. i just thought that I'd look up the basics of who she was and the plot of the serial so I wouldn't be too confused, and if there was still a reference I didn't get it would be like a treat waiting for me when I reread this after seeing the Mind of Evil.

Rereading? That is a crazy compliment:). But yes, watchwatchwatchwatch! It is one of the best Master serials. With pimptastic Delgado action and slash by the bucketload.
