HAAALP. What's the name for that point where a pendulum reaches the end of its trajectory, when it's swung as high as it can go before it starts moving back? I was reading Wikipedia on it and scratching my head. They talk about the "moment of inertia", but apparently that can also mean the movement itself if it just keeps doing the exact same thing? IT IS CONFUSING. D: And then there's "endpoint", but is that only for straight lines and things and/or where something stops completely? The articles just keep giving frickin' formulae, and I can't really go and call something "point x" or "point y", can I?

Is there a term for it? The point, or the state? I NEED THIS FOR FICZORZ. MAYBE. It'll probably sound lame if I write "the pendulum will have swung to the end of its trajectory" instead of "the pendulum will have reached its point of [insert term here]". Or both will be of teh sux? It's a metaphor and shit, so not an actual real pendulum, but... haaalp?

help?
