I was reading who_daily, and someone mentioned Clive Mansell's score to The Fountain would make a good soundtrack for the Time War.
So, I went on YouTube to check out tracks, and OH MY GOD. THE MUSIC. OH GOD. I can't believe how hard this music hits me. Again, so... overwhelming, so intense it's almost too much. And going by the clips? HOLY FUCKING SHIT, I SO NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE. Gorgeous dark fantasy, it seems, with beautiful visuals and decent actors. Right up my street.
Together We Will Live Forever, The Last Man, First Snow and ESPECIALLY Death Is the Road To Awe and EVERYTHING. Oh god.
Just... beautiful. I'm blown away.
And oh yes, would fit the Time War. And definitely dark enough for me to think of Doctor/Master angst (from Academy days all the way to some magnificient Sickathony end where they become pure energy and gods and forever).
