More whinge on Irregulars: EVERYONE IS SO FUCKING EMO. Because apparently real people always talk about their emotions out loud and angst out loud A LOT. "Holmes" is useless and mopey. Street kids keep repeating how they're just street kids and nobody gives a toss. And have done so about three or four times now. The kids' acting is so stilted it makes me miss 70's and 80's kiddie stuff, and that's saying something.
However, Commissioner still magically cuddly. Maybe it's all the bizarre padding under his uniform. Or being patient and gentle in a sort of secondary Watson way. Careful deduction skillz have found that he actually does Eyelash Action at "I cannot undermine my men". Really, every line is a slash fest.
"Let's see what else you can do, whilst in this locked room" is still the best thing about this. Cannot... stop... guffawing...
