robbed
My Boyfriend just called me saying that we got robbed last night. I am at work. apparently he left one of his car doors unlocked. but his car was way in underneath the house, its a high set colonial home, and the driveway had 3 cars length ways, his the furthest in, so the fucking junkie or whoever they were, came right underneath our house, into the laundry area where we usually go at nighttime to chill out and smoke etc. i feel violated. it'd be different if it were parked out on the street, because it's New Farm, this kind of stuff isnt really surprising. But still. His video camera was stolen out of the car, and also a friend had left a backpack in there from last weekend, which had an mp3 player and other assorted stuff in it, Rob found the bag empty on the ground next to the car. if he hadnt left the door unlocked, i wonder what the person would have done. would they have tried to get into the house? has it happened before but fortunately the doors have all been locked? it makes me wonder how safe i am. that i can be sleeping in my own house without even knowing that a few metres below me, there is a crack addict breaking into our car. FUCK THIS SHIT.
