...Manchester-by-the-Sea, that is. Haven't quite made it back to Blighty, yet:
Not the best quality, but I need to get someone back home to send over my data cable for my camera so I can upload pictures again. Or maybe just get a new camera. They're not that expensive anymore.
I did a little bit of solo wandering while the weather was still tepid, but as soon as I was in shuddering/muscle-constricting-can-see-your-breath-in-front-of-you mode, it was time to go home. I found a nice little grassy area just down the street from the train station, where there are all manners of gazebos, ducks and benches - including the kind that you can sit up high and swing your legs from, which I was only just musing over the other day :)
It was nice to get out somewhere new, even though it makes me feel like a lonely old lady. But the only alternative was to sit around with you-know-who and his friend (who had JUST dropped him off at the house after a jam session only to call and ask to come over again), lookign at stupid YouTube videos. Adventures, if only mini, were calling, and they still are.
